Description

This dataset provides information about the following orders : community payback orders (CPOs), drug treatment and testing orders (DTTOs) and the three legacy orders which are being replaced by CPOs.

CPOs were introduced by the Criminal Justice and Licensing (Scotland) Act 2010 and came into effect from 1 February 2011. A CPO can only be imposed in respect of offence(s) committed on or after 1 February 2011. The CPO can have one or more of 9 separate requirements, though each order needs to contain one, other or both of supervision and unpaid work. DTTOs were introduced to some areas in 2004-05 and have since been rolled out to all areas.
