Description
Data on smoking behaviour is based on self-reported information obtained from mothers at their ante-natal booking visit in the community or at hospital.
The smoking at booking data item was introduced in 1993/94 and it should be noted that, particularly in the earlier years and again more recently, this information is not always recorded and therefore can affect the results.
