Introduction
This section provides annual mid-year population estimates for the 354 electoral wards in Scotland. The population estimates are available for each year from 2011 onwards for 2011 Data Zones, broken down by sex and single year of age.
Populations for electoral wards are based on data zone population estimates where each data zone has been assigned to a particular electoral ward. These estimates were produced using the 2016 Electoral Ward boundaries.
Tables
The file below has been made available as an Excel workbook and can be viewed as Comma Separated Value (CSV) format. When opening the workbook your browser, depending on how it has been configured, will prompt to either open the file or save it to disk. Maximum file size is 4 MB.
