Babies' First Names 2019

List of Detailed Tables - will be updated in mid-March 2020 to include full lists of all first forenames for Scotland and, for each council area, all names which were given to 3+ babies of the specified sex

A Baby names trends in Scotland since 1974 app which is part of the Interactive Data Visualisation enables anyone to explore the rises and falls in the popularity of particular names. This currently covers all the years from 1974 to 2018.  It will be updated in mid-March 2020 to include data for 2019.
