Census Linkage Studies

We are involved in two data linkage projects which use data from the 2001 Census:

• The Scottish Longitudinal Study. Further information about the study can be found at the What is the SLS? page of the Longitudinal Studies Centre - Scotland website.
• Ethnicity and Health in Scotland, a study carried out with the University of Edinburgh and Information Services Division (ISD) National Health Service (NHS) Scotland. Further details can be found in the report Ethnicity and Health in Scotland : can we fill the information gap (468 Kb pdf file), which is available in the Public Health Sciences Section on the University of Edinburgh: Division of Community Health Sciences website, and in the research article on the BioMed Central website.
