Migration Statistics

The United Kingdom Statistics Authority has designated these statistics as National Statistics, in line with the Statistics and Registration Service Act 2007 and signifying compliance with the Code of Practice for Official Statistics (available on the UK Statistics Authority website).

These detailed migration tables have been updated to include data from the latest mid-2018 population estimates, which were published in April 2019. Further information, including commentary on these statistics, can be found on this website in the Registrar General’s Annual Review and the Mid-Year Population Estimates publications for the relevant year.
