Note
The population estimates for 2005 have been revised after we reviewed our methodology. The revisions affect the six council areas of Aberdeen City, Aberdeenshire, Angus, Dundee City, Moray and Perth and Kinross. These revised estimates replace the previously published estimates for 2006. Further information on the Revised mid-year Population Estimates 2003 - 2006 can be found on this website.
