Publication of 2020 data on the population by country of birth and nationality, and on citizenship ceremonies attended, has been delayed. The Local Area Migration spreadsheet and data visualisation will therefore be updated in late September 2021 once these are available.

This publication brings together migration-related indicators, for councils and NHS Board areas, from different sources. It includes time series data up to 2020 to help understand migration trends at a local level. It is updated once a year, although some of the data may be available more frequently and can be accessed from the relevant sources specified.
