Vital Events Reference Tables 2006

These tables contain 2006 demographic data. They provide the same level of information contained in past (pre-2001) Registrar General's Annual Reports. Tables containing 2006 data are divided into 9 sections; Summary; Population; Births; Stillbirths and infant deaths; Deaths; Deaths by cause; Marriages; Divorces and Adoptions and re-registrations. The tables - listed below - are based on vital event numbers.

NHS Board Areas

From 1 April 2006 responsibility for NHS Argyll and Clyde was split between NHS Greater Glasgow (now renamed Greater Glasgow and Clyde) and NHS Highland. Tables 1.3, 1.4, 1.5, 2.4, 2.5, 2.6, 2.8, 3.8, 3.9, 5.2 and 6.3 present information for the original NHS Board Areas, but also give data for the relevant component parts of NHS Argyll and Clyde.
