Scotland's Census 2001 - Statistics on Travel to Work or Study

This paper presents information from the 2001 Census on the characteristics of people in Scotland who travelled to a place of work or study. Most of the information is provided at local authority level, with comparisons being made between people living in an area and people working or studying there. The paper also contains analyses of people travelling between urban and rural areas and, in addition, those travelling to places of work or study in Scotland’s four largest cities.
