Description

The SG Housing Statistics annual evictions return seeks information on eviction actions taken against Local Authority tenants. This includes:

  • the number of notices of proceedings issued
  • the number of cases proceeding to court
  • the number of eviction orders issued by the court
  • the number of actions resulting in an abandoned dwelling and
  • the number of actions resulting in an eviction
  • the number of post decree tenancies granted / technical evictions.

For each of these categories, the number of actions taken on the grounds of anti-social behaviour are recorded. Results are available at http://www.gov.scot/Topics/Statistics/Browse/Housing-Regeneration/HSfS/Evictions
