Population Projections Scotland

Release dates for all projections outputs are being reviewed in conjunction with ONS, in light of the publication plans for rebased population estimates following Scotland’s 2022 census, and the 2021 censuses for England, Wales and Northern Ireland. We are currently aiming to publish national population projections in 2024. They will be followed around 5 months later by sub-national population projections. We will pre-announce our publication dates and update our release calendar in due course.
